1. The VPN Service & Data Handling

Zero VPN uses the Android VpnService class to establish a secure tunnel between your device and our VPN servers. This is the core functionality of the application.

• No Logs Policy: We strictly respect your privacy. We do not collect, log, store, or share your browsing activity, DNS queries, or the data transmitted through the VPN tunnel.
• Traffic Encryption: All internet traffic sent through the VPN tunnel is encrypted to protect your data from interception by third parties on local networks (such as public Wi-Fi).

2. Information Collection and Use

While we do not log your VPN traffic, we may collect certain information to improve the stability of our app and to support our free service through advertising.

A. Personal Data

We do not require you to provide any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use the Service. No registration is required.

B. Usage Data & Diagnostics

We may collect anonymous usage data to help us identify crashes and improve performance. This data may include:

• Device model and operating system version.
• App crash logs and performance metrics.
• Connection success/failure rates (to help us identify bad servers).

C. Advertising (AdMob)

To keep Zero VPN free, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob may collect and use data to provide personalized ads. This data may include:

• Mobile Advertising IDs (Android Advertising ID).
• Approximate location data (derived from IP address).
• App interactions and performance data.

3. Third-Party Services

The app does not host its own physical servers but routes traffic through secure third-party OpenVPN servers (such as those provided by VPNGate or VPNBook) to ensure global coverage. While we choose these providers for their reliability, we advise users that traffic leaves the VPN tunnel at the server location.

4. Permissions Required

The app requires the following permissions to function:

• FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Required to keep the VPN connection alive while you use other apps.
• BIND_VPN_SERVICE: Required to create the secure network tunnel.
• INTERNET: Required to connect to VPN servers and load advertisements.

5. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
